Well, I went to an appointment this morning, for a rash that was on my arm.

Well the doctor checked it out and he told me to take my pants off so he could examine further, to see if it had spread to any other areas.

I thought it was a little wierd but I did it, and then he said something about a rash on my thigh....which I think I would have noticed, he kept rubbing it and I thought it was wierd again, but he's a doctor. Okay so after that he said it could have spread to my little area! And I was done! I walked out! Should or Could I report him to anything?

Have you noticed a rash since you have been to your doctors. If you are unable to see, this may sound weird but take a mirror and look for youself. If there is no rash I do believe that you have the right to report it. He was touching inappropriatly and you felt uncomfortable. Stand up for yourself you may be the first one that reports something like this on him because others may be scared too. Take the first step!

If he was supposed to look at your arm, and he told you to take your pants off, that is sick. If he was really concerned that you had a rash on your thigh he would not have rubbed it repeatedly. Did he have gloves on when he did that? If not then you definitely have a case against him. You should report him to the medical board. He should not be a doctor. That is a clear-cut case of abuse and he's just using his position to take advantage of patients. What a creep!

Was a nurse in the room when he was doing this? If not, always ask that a nurse be present.

I had a doctor send the nurse from the room once and ask me to take off my shirt to examine my back, then he tried to lift me up with my shirt off. I left too, and then I reported him to the AMA.

You really need to report this person. I once dated a woman who was abused by her optometrist when she was pretty young. She didn't report him and it haunted her for years.

We read one day that he had been reported for sexual abuse by another child, and that child's family had taken him to court, won a lawsuit, and he subsequently was stripped of his title and lost his business.

The thing is, this was YEARS later, and she couldn't get passed the idea that any number of other little girls had been abused because she had been too afraid to report him.

Reporting him is not only for your sake, but for every other person that walks into this creep's office.

Many years ago I went to a Rheumatologist for the arthritis in my fingers & he had asked me to take my shirt & bra off, I flat out refused & reported him. I couldn't believe it! I think that old fart is dead now.

you definitely need to report that. call the management of the office where he works. if that yields no result, then call the state licensure board to report it. what he did was totally unacceptable.
