Supervolcanoes? Do you mean like some tectonic activity that just cracks the mantle and the core rushes out? Do you mean that the smoke and ash from the super volcanoe will darken the skies and kill all the plants?
Nuclear terrorism isn't going to destroy the world. It could concievably destroy a city or two. If we lost NY it could be devastating to our economy, but it will not end the world.
Global warming may change the quality of life. It may result in mass extinctions and the destabalizing of the world ecosystem. Guess what. It has happened before. It will happen again. The world and the life on it are still here.
Gamma ray bursts? From where? From the aliens? Do you know what a gamma ray is? So far, one has never been detected in our galaxy. I suppose that it could keep you up at night worrying about whether our sun were about to pop off like a lightbulb and totally incenerate everything. I'm more likely to worry about heart disease.
Global pandemic is a real concern. It is made more deadly and more realistic when you realize that our own government has been working on deadly biologicals for years. It will not destroy the world. But, it could collapse our society. What happens to all those people in NY and LA when all the farmers are too sick to farm and all the truckers are too sick to bring the food to the city?
Giant solar flares and asteroids come under the heading of 'hand of god' disasters. But, if you are talking about wiping off all life on earth, I'm going have to go with these two, however remote or how far into the future it may be. The radiation levels that would occur on the planet if we actuall passed through a solar flare would be like the fallout from Chernobyl all over the planet. I don't know if the deaths would be fast or slow. It would depend on the radiation levels just as it would depend on the size of the asteriod.
I guess what I'm saying is, you don't have to worry about man totally destroying the world. I don't think he can do that at present. He can just mess it up really badly and make life miserable for everyone. To totally end the world, it is going to take something coming from off the planet.

All of the above could end the world. (the chance of ending the world as we know it is getting stronger every day with the greenhouse effect , and yellowstone threat looming near us).
A super volcano could blanket the planet with hot ash distroy all life outside of bacteria and those able to escape under ground for years as a blanket of ash circulating over the globe for years could cause a nuclear winter.
An alein invasion would mean a species far in advance of our to reach star travel and that means they also would be far in advance of ours in military power if they so choose. that is a small but real chance .
A gaint solar flare or gramma ray burst if strong enough could distroy every living thing on earth including bacterial. A few years ago a burst from another solar system was strong enough to have burned the earth to a crisp had it been with in a few more hundreds of light years. nothing would have survived(yahoo news, science, space, come I think).nature online.
If terrorist who do not care if they die and every one in the world dies, will some day have the capitability to make bombs large enought o distroy the earth and make life unlivable for humdreds of thousands of years due to radation. This is a very good likely hood unless naitons go the the extreme now and remove such people from power, and life.
A global pandemic is highly possible whether it is movement of land masses such as an ice age caused by global warming or biological agents let loseon earth for distruction which got out of control.
It is not if we gwet struck by an astroid but when and it will happen and soem day a large one will hit us. It could be one large enough to distroy all life and make this planet a ball of burning rock and gas, kill off most life for years to come or we could try to change it's orbit.

the international is unquestionably experiencing climate change. Deforestation, oil pollutants, and the depletion of drinkable water will all have a devastating result on existence as all of us recognize if we enable it to proceed. the present financial ruin and the flair fall down of the euro zone will also upload to the present fears, and worry motives wars. Nuclear conflict might want to damage all existence in the international, and there is already sufficient worry and confusion between the international governments that may be the catalyst for the start of the top. In different words, mankind already possesses the ability to reason his personal extinction. Mankind might want to have obtained recognize-how, yet mankind hasn't received an equivalent quantity of expertise and recognize-how, mankind remains at conflict with mankind and nature. The risk isn't exterior in nature, the risk is from interior.

All of them would, but my guess it will be from nuclear terrorism. Humans turning against Humans because neither side can admit the other has some truths and some false things within their hearts. So sad for all the little children in the world.

All of them could end the world! Nuclear terrorism would probably do it the soonest though! With all the bombs in the world we could easily blow ourselves into pieces! Everything else is very likely too but the terrorism might happen first!
