I was on imdb reading about it and most people said positive things about it, some people said negative things. I'd like to know what you think.
Also, on an imdb message board about this movie there was a post about "Why is this movie rated R?" The person that posted thought it should have been PG-13.
Do you agree with that? Do you think it should have been rated R?

I have seen Nick of Time quite a few times, and its a continuous favorite Johnny movie of mine. Its a drama/thriller, who includes the likes of Johnny, Christopher Walken, Charles S. Dutton and Roma Maffia. He is not only fighting for his life, but the life of his daughter and a high-profile government figure. Christopher plays an excellent villian, and Johnny plays a very confused and unsettled man who is trying to keep from doing anything wrong. If you like thrillers, action, Johnny Depp and a good story, I reccomend seeing the movie. If you see it and like it, you can buy it. Otherwise, you then know what its like and curbed your curiousity. Here is a early poster from when the movie came out:

And the reason they rated it so high was because of the violence, (mostly with guns) and the large amount of swearing. (mostly with the g/d word and f word.)

I saw this movie in 1995 in a big screen. As far as I can remember it is about Johnny Depp's daughter being kidnapped. And he has to do something so they will release his daughter in a short time that is why the title is "Nick of Time". I can't remember any violent scene in this movie that it should be rated R. So i guess PG 13 is fine. I consider this as one of JD best movies.

It was a mediocre thriller...short on thrills that saw Jonny Depp trying to do a deliberately commercial movie (nothing wrong with that btw) but it really never lived up to it's promise. I'd give it about 2 and a half stars...

I saw the movie around the time it came out. It was alright-not my favorite JD movie though

i haven't seen it...but it has johnny depp in it.......thats usually a big indication that it is a good movie!!!! ;)
