I'm pretty upset with most of the moronic answers to this question...
Technically it is illegal because it is invasion of privacy but the fact that it is a business establishment overrules most.
As for speaking another language... I was born in the US and I speak English and Spanish... English being my first language... and I prefer speaking Spanish.
