I think it is overpopular. I know 7 girls named Elizabeth and each one of them tries to go by a nickname of Liz or lizzy or E-liz to stand out from the rest.

I think its classy and regal. But I dont like when people chop it up and use Liz or Lizzie. That sounds like a bartender or something. If its your name...insist on Elizabeth. It carries its own beauty.

I love it. It is my middle name. But I don't like the nicknames for it such as Beth or Liz. I just like Elizabeth

its very old fashioned and pretty, but i would not want it because so many people have it, even though theres a ton of nicknames (liz, lizzy, eliz, liza, beth, elly,etc)
