FYI not all girls like geting pregnant or do...if they do get pregnant it's cause they want a kid...simple..but not all of us are like that!

Most teenage girls that are running around school telling people they are or might be pregnant are just wanting some attention and they thank it is the grown up way to get the respect and attention they want. However they really have no idea what a hand full kids are. When your happily married though, and ready to settle down you will start thinking about how nice it would be to have something that is only you and your husbands its a great bond almost every woman wants.

For some girls they are looking for someone to love them and they think by having a baby they will get that love. For some women getting pregnant is the ultimate way of showing their love for their spouse or boyfriend. Unfortunately sometimes it backfires on them. So getting pregnant for any reason if you are not ready to raise the child is not the answer.. By the way I have been pregnant 4 times and have wonderful children by the same man I have been married to for over 15 years.

It depends on the person. Some really don't like getting pregnant they do it for many reasons. Some because they love kids, some because they want to share something special with a loved one, some to keep a partner (which doesn't work), and the some love the expierence of bringing something so special into the world and feeling the movements as it grows within your body.

Some "girls" like the idea of being pregnant and enjoy the attention. Personally, I found it miserable to feel ill, bloat, and see my feet disappear under an enormous belly. But I didn't mind doing it because my husband and I were ready and happy to become parents.
I've known too many women (usually young) who want to be pregnant for pregnancy's sake. Some reasonably mature women say this too and enjoy the parenting end too. But the less mature women--you know the type--love pregnancy but hate parenting.
Sounds horrible of me to say this about my fellow women but I've seen too many highly anticipated kids getting shunted around once they are born and those women are overwhelmed by the responsibility and want to have more babies for the attention it brings, not the love they want to share.

Because they want to feel loved and needed and they feel that having a child will fulfill that need. Having a child is a lot of hard work and the need that these young women have is exceeded by a lot of responsibilities and a mature way of thinking. They do feel the love of the child but, still they want more.

I HATE being PREGNANT......It sucks...extra weight...my hips don't spread.....my back hurts all the time ......and this will be my third c-section( i'm 7 months along) I really hate it but I love my children more than anything in the world.....and that is the only way I can have a baby then so be it.....

Why don't boys do more to make sure they respect a girl enough to not help bring another baby into the world with inadequate parents?

As has been said, to boost their own self-esteem, and because they think want or need these guys so bad and will do whatever to keep them that consequences are an afterthought.

maybe its from the media? like angelina jolie and britney spears or gwen stefani all running around with a big belly that turns them on to want to have a baby? lol.......
or they are happily marriend or are going to be and want to start a family =)
