Is your obsession a positive thing in your life or is it interfering with everyday normal life?

Obsessions... they make me go crazy and I lose my inhibitions. It s like love to me, because my obsession is based on love. You think about the subject the whole time. It makes me sad also, because of the worries I have, towards my love.... >_<

I have LOADS... I have OCD.
Hand washing, double rinsing things in the washing machine, can't touch certain things at all, germs, cleaning in general, doorknobs have to be opened with a paper towel, Can't touch people, tapping...
I have learned to control it over the years without the "help" (if that's what you want to call it) of any medication or doctor but it used to be so bad the only way I could ever feel normal was to be completely blitzed out of my mind. I self medicated for years.
I am synesethic so it makes all of my senses heighten and I am just very sensitive to everything. Touch, smell, light, heat, taste... everything really. It was quite tormenting for many years, I honestly learned not to obsess by forcing myself to do the very things I loathed doing, on purpose... I healed myself.

Sex... honestly, it's an obsession that I've grown to dislike only because it has taken over my life to an extreme.

I am obsessed with sneakers. If they're cute, I have to get them. I have too many pairs to even count.

I like things stacked neat and orderly, it annoys the hell out of me if they are not.

not really. just a compulsive habit i guess. washing my hands, and handwash liquids/gels. weird huh.
