ahh i went in my room yesterday and i opened my armwa door and there was a little roach in there. i slapped the door and grabbed everything i need for the next 3 days and im scared to even sleep in there. im terrified of bugs. what should i do? because trust me, i won't go in my room for months if i know that thing is in there

I despise bugs too so I'm with you there. There are different kinds of roaches. A cockroach may have come into your room from a bag or box from the grocery store. Cockroaches eat the glue from the box/bag. It may also be what I call a "wood roach" which lives in cedar and other types of wood and comes in your house from outside, usually in late spring and in the fall if you live near the woods. These usually are very soft and easy to kill, unlike the cockroach which has a very hard shell and is hard to squish. I would get a fly swatter and totally examine my room. If you have an infestation, please call Orkin or some other exterminator. My experience is that the time and money you spend trying to get rid of the bugs yourself can be better spent on a professional who will get it done right the first time. Get those little roach tablets that the roach would eat wipe out their entire family.....you will keep any other roaches out too.
Alternatively, spray an insecticide and kill it.
The last time i kill a roach was.....I threw my dictionary at it and killed it straight.
I hate roaches too.....

omg i hate that too i did that as well... there was a bug in my pillow case... EWWWWWWWW it was so freaky.. so i got my blanket ans slept in my basement couch the next week
