Has anyone taking Hydrocodone while they were pg?

There's a girl at my work that takes these she's about 5 months almost 6 months pg. I dont think it's okay she's taking those wont it give the baby a birthdefect? and when we told her she wasnt supposed to take them she said she didnt care that the doctor had prescribed them to her for her kidney infection?

great i was really stressing for her baby yall cause its her first and she's pretty young so i wasnt sure about it!

I did. It's considered ok for pregnant women and their developing babies. It has been since I was pregnant with my daughter 15 years ago. So no worries there, ok?

However, it turned out I was allergic so the back injury that I was taking it for was made worse when I was hunched over the toilet puking like mad. But it wasn't supposed to be bad for the baby. That baby is now almost 15 and seems as ok as any teenager.

You'd be surprised at what drugs pregnant women can take. It's perfectly fine. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed when I was pregnant with my first and they gave me Vicodin (which is the same as hydrocodone) and he's fine. In fact he'll be 10 this Halloween. If she starts to abuse the drug, then you can be concerned.

Yes. I had to have my wisdom teeth cut out when was 5 1/2 months and the dentist gave them to me if she takes them as prescribed it is fine, my son came into the world happy and healty.

NOOO the only thing you are suppose to take when u are preg is tyleonal u should slap that girl for being a pill popper trying to stay high and being a idiot

I took them while i was nursing...not pregnant. I think its just tylenol with codeine, i dont know y she would be taking it for an infection? I avoided all meds while i was preg and just dealt with the pain. but maybe her kidney is unbearable.
