how come when i try to say something in the chess room no one hears me?how do i take out the whisper?

Every time i go to a room in chess and i try to say something to my opponent nobody can see what i wrote...only i can see it...it says (me)whispers:....will someone please tell me how i can comunicate with other players?How do i take the "whisper" out?
