There was a time when I would have given anything to go back and change certain decisions I made (because there is nothing else that could be changed). But after living the life I am now, I know that all of those decisions, both good and bad, have made me the person I am today with the family I have. Why jeopardize all I hold dear now just to correct some past error? Will it make me a happier person? I've realized that it won't. All people, no matter what their position in life, no matter what their circumstances, has the capacity for joy and to appreciate what they DO have, and to change the course of their future for the better.
