How do I change the numeric sort order for displaying files? now display 1 11 100 2 22 etc., not 1 2 3..11 12?

I would like to change windows sort order to numbers like we normally count. Now when I view a file it puts them in order of 1 11 100 1111, 2 20 222 3 30 300 4 40 400 etc. I think this is called boolean (?) logic. Please let me know the way to change it.

Your computer is doing what it is suppose to. It is displaying things alphabetically. They read numbers like they are words, one character at a time starting from the left. So 11 will always come before 2. There is absolutely nothing you can do to change that. That is how computers work.

What I do is a work around is to put zeros in front of the number. Like 001,002,...011, 012,...100,101... Then it sorts things correctly.
