I think it's a horrible idea, and I guess if that was the case I wouldn't be buying anything anymore.

I think it's the mark of the beast.
Now I'm not much of a Christian, but it doesn't take a genius to figure "no man may buy or sell without the mark".
Furthermore, forced microchipping is less about buying and selling, and more about control--of us, humans. Why do you think they call it "Human Resources"? A resource is typically something harvested (mined, whatever...), altered and manipulated to suit the possessor's designs, and then discarded when no longer needed. The push for biometric security and systems is merely the precursor of what is to come.
And as a side note: the more these biometric and digital systems become commonplace, the more identity theft occurs. There was less identity theft and fraud when this country used only cash.

It's a wicked idea, totally against it,but one day IT WILL HAPPEN! In the Bible in Revelations it says EVERYONE in the WORLD MUST take the mark of the beast either in their foreheads or in their hand,to buy or sell,so it's just a matter of time before they(the world's gov'mts)do this. They already microchip pets, and they(gov'mts)have been microchipping people for the past 20 years,it's just that only a few people know about this.At the place where i work,to punch in,you have to have your handscanned. In Texas several years ago,the banking institutions were wanting to scan people's iris's to do banking to eliminate bank fraud and credit card fraud. There are many ways the gov'mnts of the world want us all to "go along" to get along.Take for another example, europe's one currency, the euro,it was set up to "unify" europe, which is a bunch of bull, they just want to control people.

Isn't there something in the Bible about that to the effect that those who were marked by the Beast could operate in this world and those with out the mark of the Beast would be persecuted?
Personally I do not like the idea of the elimination of cash. With cash I can pick up my wealth and use it anomalously.

Thats a sign of the anti christ & its a horrible idea. You have to make do without being microchipped or you will not go to heaven. You will be marked w/the sign of the beast & walk the earth for all eternity.

I would probably leave this country before they got me chipped i suppose. I was reading in the newspaper today they are going to put a chip in your passport or something. Also i heard talks about a radio type chip in a national id card too. Its almost 1984 but there just needs a couple of things to fit into place I guess.

It probably will never happen.
Every time I hear about a society going "paperless" in any way, I get ten credit card applications in the mail, plus all the other junk I get.
Every time I hear about everything "going digital" and being strictly on computers, someone asks me to print something out for them, usually multiple copies.

It would turn petty thieves into murderers as they attempt to hack off whatever limb has the chip in it.
It would however keep other countries from stockpiliing US currency...
Of course scammers could also place chip readers all over the place and as you walk by it drains your account of all its money and you get nothing for it..
Sounds all around bad to me.

Not going to happen. Data systems can be hacked so paper money will continue to be here for a long time to come.

I can't imagine this ever being forced. There is too much religion to allow that to happen. At least we can hope is isn't.
