I'm not, we have some lovely Polish friends who will do anything for you and have not once asked for anything in return off us, they brought skills with them and work hard for the minimum wage in jobs that had been vacant for 9 months prior to them coming here, no UK citizen seemed to want the job they took, I was finally able to get a plumber and electrician out to do the jobs I have been waiting to be done for a long time now by UK plumbers and electricians, they either don't turn up when they say they will or charge you the earth and leave everything a mess, I don't see the colour of peoples skin or ignore them for whichever country they come from, I accept people for what they are, its not their fault they have been allowed to just come over here and get 'our' jobs, its the governments fault for allowing the UK to be left open to all and sundry to come in, if you really are that fed up then get on to Tony Blair and stop picking on the people who are only doing what our government have let them do.

There are many peope in the world who would give anything to have what the people of this country have, only that many of the people of this country don't know how lucky they are.....they are so insular, and selfish-thinking, (probably as a result of empire days........) that they do not think about anyone else. There is one world, and we should all share it. The Polish people are very polite, friendly and hard-working, unlike some Brits, (not all , by any means) especially the types that are xenophobic and racist .
Lets have total free movement of people and labour, and then those people will appreciate what they've got.

From what I have seen, and I can only speak from personal experience, I can't possibly get to know ALL THE POLISH - they are friendly, very hard working and GRATEFUL FOR A JOB.
They do all the menial work that most British layabouts won't get out of bed for and then people say they are pissed off with the Polish!

I am appalled at some of the biased xenophobic answers here. Paki's, Polish Mexicans etc. are often very hard-working and migrate to better their lives and create a decent environment for their children and very often have to put up with racist idiotic comments. I'd rather learn about other peoples cultures instead of criticising them.

The vast majority are of working age and doing jobs that our shrinking and ageing population don't want to do, their culture is European and more similar to ours that many other labour exporting countries and Poland is a member of the EU.

What right have you go to be "pissed off" you Nazi. Now you perhaps know how the Spanish / Greeks / Turks feel when half of Macclesfield descends on their coastal resorts every year depositing pavement pizzas everywhere, clogging up their gaols and annoying the other tourists

Providing they are here to work,I say good luck to them! Our country is full of different nationalities,we should welcome the ones that are here to do work. They are not sponging off the state like others, not that I have heard anyway.I would not want to do some of the menial tasks they do,and neither would most English folk, which is why they are here! The people I object to, are the ones that come to live here, for a better life they say, then try to hurt us in the most horrendous, hideous manner possible, and of course, illegals and those who choose to drain benefits from the social welfare pot!!!

What everybody seems to miss about this question is that they are competing against indigenous workers for jobs, health care, social housing and education for their children. The middle classes may think it's great to get a cheap plumber or electrician, but why won't they support English tradesmen/women?. All this money that they earn is going back to Poland, not being spent in Britain, we are going to lose with higher unemployment and poverty wages.

Why should I have to wait 3 years for council housing, when a dumb Polack can jump offa the bannana boat a get a house, fully-furnished as well? And to think Council Tax will rise to pay for these f*ckers.I think that all the pepole who stand up for them should have to support 20 of the lice-ridden b*stards sleeping on their living room carpet. And feed them. And give them hand relief when they can't sleep. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!
