My Ex-boyfriend while having a conversation with me regarding my outlook on life about a particular subject, looked at me and said, you are an amazing woman. It was kind of unexpected and i answered....so, that is a compliment.....he said, oh my God! she had to ask. I in returned said, well thank you. And that was the end. Do you think I weirded him out? Do you think that he has feelings for me again?

You may have weirded him out a little, but hey he paid you a nice compliment. He may have feelings for you or could just be telling something he feels you are. Are youtwo still friends? If so, that may be why he felt comfortable saying this to you. I hope this helps.

NO,I don't think he has feelings for you. He complimented you, and women are notorious for not taking compliments well. You should have thanked him, you didn't weird him out, but not saying thank you after a compliment is considered rude.
This is a man who knows you well, and though you broke up for whatever reasons, he can still respect you and think highly of you without wanting to get back together.
