if you putting it right up to your face i would say that is not normal, but some people can detect from the smell of their waste while it is still in the toliet if something isn't right with their body ;0

I hope you don't mean putting your nose to the commode after going!!!
Basically, if your nose works... this is an experience you will not escape.
I think you really should consider getting some form of hobby. If this is the kind of thing you are spending your precious brain cells worrying about, then you have a very sad life.
