As has been mentioned, it was a tv version of John Wyndham's book Chocky, which Amazon seem to have copies of, and descriptions of:

As I remember, other than being decimalised, it was quite an accurate reproduction.

Yeah! I remember that programme. The spaceship would turn invisible and the little boy used to get in it and dissapear from sight. Was a good programme. The spaceship used to whisper to the boy when it was in trouble or wanted him to help.

oh god i soo bear in mind this...all those who I have requested seems at me like in stupid lol....it extremely gave me the creeps tho... i became surely scared as a baby lol...it became the way chocky spoke nevertheless scares me if i imagine about it lol.....
