I will be going on a 2 - 3 month trip and I don't know if I can get that much at one time here in the states.

You probably can but it depends on where you are staying. The pharmacies in Kingston do stock it. Call wherever you are stying and ask for the number nearest pharmacy or health centre and check with them beforehand.

More than likely they wont because i tried filling a prescription in the US last year and they said that was strictly prohibited, what i would suggest is that you have your doctor refer you to a specific pharmacist that will advance you the medication up to the time when you are due back which is what i did this year. If they are hesitant to do this then they may have the authority to authorize a pharmacist here in jamaica to fill the prescription even though it wasn't written by a local doctor. I hope this helps. Have fun on your trip!

If I were you and you really need it you probably should talk to your Dr. about extending you script so you can get enough that you need to take with you. FYI due to the new TSA regulations be sure you take a copy of the script with you and keep the meds in the original container with your name.
Jamaica isn't like Central America or Mexico where you can just walk in and get whatever drug you want.

Maybe not, but in Jamaica you can easily get something else to fill the void if you know what I mean. But, you should try to work something out with your Dr. or pharmacist before your trip.
