i have an antique cedar chest that has ropund white stains on it from someone sitting a wet glass on it how can i remove it without hurting the finish of the wood

I have used 'Old English' scratch remover, which really does
cover it. It will come in lite, med. or dark. Even most grocery
stores carry this product.

Used it for 25 years. It's great for alot of wood problems, even
floors.

camphorated oil applied with a soft cloth will take the white marks off of funiture

Try Mayo.....sometimes it works if you do it right away.

try toothpaste, not gel, and soft cloth
