Enforce the Indian laws.
1-Make the family legally liable for a this crime.
2-Stop the corruption. Revoke the OBGYN's license/or the doctor/or authority who performed the scan/procedure.
3-Prosecute the person who is asking for a bribe. Prevent some body's pocket from getting padded with money.
Non-enforcement of the laws are all negligent and violent acts against the mother and the female fetus -- and humanity.
End the patriarchy and misogyny through education and law enforcement. Life is divine. Why do people in India not practice ahimsa? It's a sorry day in India that over 50 million women are killed.

we are part of society and we must think for future society architecture. For a healthy society it is required to respect , to save and to impart freedom to a female. At least some equal standards for male and female. Foeticide is weed in any culture and society; that must be uprooted. parents and doctors both should be punished with fine and judicial action.

Now Indian Parliament has passed amendment in 2003 and the act covers all these aspects.It is known as PNDT Act and is very powerful piece of legislation.You may do prase search and you will get those legal provisions

NONE... it's their society and their culture so don't go putting your narrow minded beliefs on THEIR SYSTEM... it's none of your business.
There is a reason for female feticide in some countries because of poverty and belief systems, not to mention the use of needed resources to marry off a daughter as compared to a son.
It may seem shocking to American minds, but those systems work for the people who use them and, in the final analysis... IT'S THEIR BUSINESS and it's really none of yours.
