The other possibility is a "tracking pad" -- your question is REALLY unclear. What do you mean "inside the computer"? If you mean the thing on the screen that you manipulate WITH the mouse, then "cursor". If you mean one of the things that substitutes for a mouse that's build into laptop keyboards, then the sort of rectangular space you run your finger around is a "tracking pad" and the little pencil-eraser-like thing is called what that other person said (and which I forget). -- oh, yeah, track ball.

If you're talking about something else, then you need to give us a hint as to what you're talking about.

That's... well... that's an interesting question. Are you talking about a trackball, maybe?

i think you mean a joystick (push it to click) or a touchpad (use the two buttons under it to click)
