Actually, it's legal for first cousins to marry in 26 states! Guess where most of them are located!

Its a joke and a bad one,no one inter married more than the Royal families of the worlds monarchies.
Years ago all people intermarried at some point or another,due to limited choices of people.But not in any modern world. It was accepted to marry at a very young age also not only in the US but all over the world.Southerners are no more prone to marring close relatives than any other group ,you watch far too much Jerry Springer,its fake like professional wrestling get a grip. on reality,please.

erm....But really i've seen sisters trade a husband and children and first and second cousins marrying. Yeah there isn't many of people to choose from to marry around here but with technology and all that would be less of an occurance.

stop watching jerry springer. those are paid actors pretending to be mother/son, father/daughter, etc etc. southern people are no more likely to marry relatives than anyone else..............if you want to talk about marrying relatives look at the brits and royalty.
