Little Miss Sunshine is a great movie. I went to an independent movie theater on Saturday afternoon to see it, because I thought it wouldn't be so crowded. I was wrong. And the showing after this was even more packed. People were laughing histerically throughout the movie. I laughed so hard a couple of times that I started to cry. It's rated R, because the grandpa snorts cocaine a couple of times, he likes porn, the characters talk about sex, there are some scenes related to death and he cusses a lot.

Little Miss Sunshine is an excellent film. It has an R-rating because of language and some of the themes get a little heavy at times (drug use, frank discussions of sexuality, death, etc.)

When it is funny, it is funny, but when things get serious it really pulls no punches.

Reviews were good for an Indi film and it went over well at Sundance, I believe. Clips I saw looked like it might be funny and charming. Prolly the R rating for incidental language - just a guess.
