I am. I'm very careful regarding expiration dates, reading ingredients, proper storage and wrapping of food, etc.

I clean out my fridge about every 3 days and toss any leftovers that haven't been consumed within those 3 days. Once a month I check and chuck most of my condiments. And I only buy canned goods and dry goods as I need them. I buy meat in bulk and keep in a deep freezer, I only buy enough for a month or two at a time and don't get more until what I have is gone. Maybe I have OCD when it comes to food.

I'm not that paranoid about it. If leftovers are good (something everyone really likes) it is gone the next day. If something is still here after 2 days they are not going to eat it anyway so it get's tossed. All of my meat/fish ect. goes strait to the freezer if it's not going to be cooked that day or the next. If something looks/smells funny I don't take any chances and it gets tossed asap.

I am super particular about keeping meaty leftovers for only two days tops. And that's only if they are kept cold. Being in the restaurant industry has affected me for life- in a good way! But after taking a food inspection course, you start to think about all the germs bacteria etc and well, either call it being anal or just paranoid, but I'm picky!

Rats do desire a wholesome weightloss plan of food made for rats, yet 2 days of ingesting human food wil no longer harm them in the least. merely make constructive you bypass back to a wholesome rat weightloss plan on friday or saturday. feed them inspite of you want so that that they had complete satisfied bellies. inspite of the undeniable fact that, stay faraway from chocolate, corn, spinach, citrus end result, something truly fatty like chips or cake, and immediately peanut butter (a touch on bread is okay, immediately pb is too sticky for little mouths). imagine of it this way, if it is the weekend and also you pig out and devour numerous junk and no vegetables or end result or something, you may want to sense a touch drained, yet you may want to be fantastic in case you began ingesting wholesome back on monday. Oh...and go away the cat food for the cat. there are an rather good type of yummy human human food options. also, when you're previous adequate, possibly attempt to get a small area time pastime or something so that you've funds once you like it. a million-2 days a week even at minimum salary might want to be more effective than adequate to conceal any rat appropriate prices.

We won't even waste time putting leftovers in fridge. All goes into freezer or trash . We date everything and clean out the fridge weekly in summer.

Leftovers at my house aren't served to my family, but to our St. Bernard same night.
I'm not saying that people who eat leftovers shouldn't, because that's personal preference.
In my home I cook everything daily. I don't feed myself or my family leftovers.

My family isn't! I'll be looking through the fridge, and see something from a long time ago, then just throw it away.
