i don't think the media is telling us everything. in fact, the first few days i've been reading about jena 6, all i was hearing was 'free the jena 6' and 'racism, racism, racism' without substantial evidence noted. three days later, more details are coming out, and i believe it's not as racially inclined as the media, jesse jackson, and al sharpton would like us to believe. i do however believe that any student, regardless of color, should be tried if he or she participated in a fight. then again, i think that's true in every town at every time. i also believe that the kids who hung the nooses should be brought up on terrorist threats. however, we're learning that the two situations are exclusive of each other. i think pulling the race card gets in the way of true justice. pardon the pun, but it colors everything and creates panic, which is exactly what we DON'T need.

Guess that all depends on how you let your opinion be know and if it was any of your business in the first place. Did you make a higher up look bad?

There is a pecking order in most jobs that must be observed if things are going to run smoothly.

Don't forget egos are also involved - if you were in a similar situation would you want someone approaching you the way you approached them?

If you are self employed, how can anyone else decide what you do and don;t get paid for? Still, I guess you could charge what you want if you are self employed so ask for a higher rate if you're working less hours. It is all a bit ridiculous and it all confuses me!

It all depends on the situation. How did you voice your opinion? To who? How many times have you voiced your opinion? I have had people who work for me who moan all the time about how unfair things are, in the end i just get annoyed by these people and don't want to help them. Other people who have come to me about a situation and we have talked about it in an adult manner and the situation has been resolved. I have to say though, about what you say about reduced hours and unpaid lunch, your employers are trying to get you to leave.

I'd be willing to bet your opnion was a bit on the negative or critical side. Many peole can't tolerate being thought wrong so they lash back without considering whether the criticism may have value. It is easier to that than admit a mistake or to change how things are being handled. You are not alone in this situation.

If your self employed you've only got your self to blame.

u voive your opinion when u say what u feel, and ur not afraid to express that opinion.

it doesn't matter what will happen when u finish saying it, bcuz ur voicing ur opinion.

in ur situation, think carefully b4 u voice ur opinion.
do u want to keep ur job? or make a statement?
