Because the international peacekeeping forces aren't fully in place yet, and Hezbollah is busily importing more Syrian weapons into the area. Hezbollah doesn't mind a few more Lebanese getting killed by Israeli strikes- it makes the news and works to their political advantage- they've been using civilians, aid workers (and even UN personnel) as human shields throughout the entire conflict. I guess it's easy to play Russian roulette when the gun is pointed at someone else's head.
Eventually the Lebanese will see that having Hezbollah armed & active is more trouble than it's worth.

Why are you continuing to ignore the blatant fact that Hezbolla was the first to violate the cease-fire? You've rephrased this question at least twice, and have been given the same answers each time: Hezbolla has refused to return the Israeli soldiers they kidnapped, they fired rockets into Israel immediately following the enactment of the cease-fire proving they have no intention of honoring it, and they're continuing to re-arm themselves in blatant violation of the agreement. Israel is not going to stand by idle and let Hezbolla kill their people.

you really need to pay attention to current events. Monday morning the day the cease fire went into effect Hezbollah attacked Israeli positions and 3 were killed. The most recent event involves Israel attacking Hezbollah as they were rearming thanks to the Syrians. The rearming and the raid were both violations of the cease fire.

Israel wants to continue the war until 31 august when the ultimatum given to Iran by the US expires so they will have a reason to invade.. the joke's on them. Iran isn't Iraq... if it's invaded the first thing that it will do won't be to attack the US but Israel... can't wait for that to happen
