In nature, the superior outcompete the inferior for the opportunity to mate and produce children, and for the possession of territory and other resources. The result is a gradual and longterm improvement in the quality of biological organisms and of the species they compose.

"If the process were different, all further and higher development would cease and the opposite would occur. The inferior always predominates numerically over the best, which means if both had the same possibility of staying alive and propagating, the inferior would multiply so much more rapidly that in the end the best would inevitably be driven into the background.

"Nature prevents that from happening by subjecting the weaker part to such severe living conditions that by them alone the number is limited, and by not permitting the remainder to increase promiscuously, but making a new and ruthless choice according to strength and health."

Here on Yahoo Answers, any dummy can pop off a question like "How do I masturbate?" or "Is picking my nose in public a nasty habit?" and have the same opportunity to get answers as anybody else can get with far more challenging and worthy questions. And the result, predictably, is a mess that can be compared to a big pile of crap in which a few diamonds might possibly be found buried somewhere therein.

Democratic methods of choosing leadership have the same general result. Voters are like the Yahoo question askers: for every one of them who knows what he is doing, there are ten thousand who do not, despite whatever opinion they might have to the contrary.

You definitely don't have Downs Syndrome. You can write more coherently and have better spelling and grammar than many university students I've come across (I'm not kidding or being sarcastic). You may have a learning disability or something like Asperger's (which is a mild form of autism) though which would make certain things more difficult for you. Ask your doctor about getting tested. Explain why you would like the testing and see if they can give you a referral. You may also be able to get tested on your own if you look up a place that does the testing (I'm in Canada and everything seems to be different here than in the U.S., if that's where you are).

Perhaps we should not laugh at those who are asking inane questions. Sure they may sound idiotic to some of us... but at least they're asking a question instead of living in bliss and thinking the answer they have is the only right answer.

Now with that said, some of the questions asked DO seem a little ridiculous when asked over and over and over... and have been answered by those in the know! Why ask the question again when it already has been answered? Just because the answer isn't what it was hoped it would be doesn't mean that the answer will change by asking again!

The wording of your question is unnecessarily inflammatory. Many people are typing questions in English when it isn't their primary language. Many are just kids (although in my book that's no excuse). Some are drunk/fried and don't know how to make sense. There's a little of everything on here.

I also think that very often. Especially when I'm reading maths and sciences category. I have graduated from high school in Turkey and I feel like a professor.
