In about a week from now I'm going to visit(or Vacation, shoul I say) France, where do you guys reccomend to go?

Wow, there's so many things different to see in France !! It really depends where you are,
Contrary to what the guy above me said, avoid St-Tropez, it's typically overcrowded in summer, one hour to go and find a place to park the car, and nothing special to see (the small village in itslef has some charm, but there are more beautiful little villages in Provence that are less overcrowded)
If you go to the South of France (best weather), go see Carcassonne (old medieval city), Nîmes and its roman arenas (and the famous Pont du Gard, an roman aqueduc close to Nîmes), Avignon (nice old city with the Popes' palace). On the Côte d'Azur (i.e. the "richer part" of South of France), you have Nice close to Italian frontier, and Monaco which is another country :)
Apart from that, of course Paris and its numerous buildings, monuments and museums, the castle of Versailles. Not too far from Paris by highway or train, the cathedral of Reims (140 km from Paris), the northern city of Lille (close to the Belgian frontier), the Loire Valley castles (Chambord, Chenonceaux, Amboise...), the old city of Dijon in Bourgogne (+ very good food there :) ), Brittany (the "celtic" part of France), and many other places...
France is very diversified from North to South, from West to East. Many old cultures there.

I think Paris has given you a good advice. Otherwise, you'll spend too much time on the train. But if you do Paris + South of France, you'll be able to see 2 different areas which are only 3 hours away from each other by TGV (fast train). So, yes, Paris + Marseilles + Nice? There are plenty of pretty, small villages around Nice. Or like Atchoum said, you could go towards Avignon. Or if you like the Celtic culture, go to Brittany instead of Marseilles.
Marseilles is the 2nd biggest city in France. And you can go to the beach there. Could be a good day out. Also, you can see the countryside when you are on the train, so you'd be able to see the different sceneries (I know, it would be fast: but you only have a week).

A week in France it's not enough to see the "must see " places of this wonderful country. But, let's try :first Paris and in 3-4 days you can see the most important places of the capital (do a tour with the open bus-there are 4 lines with connection between them, so you can have a general view of the city ). From Paris with the TGV you'll be in Marseille on the Mediteranean Coast and you can spend here the others days, visiting Marseille, Nice and Monte Carlo.Bon voyage !

Paris for a couple of days, especially if you've never been there. Then, if it's your first trip to France, take the TGV down to Avignon, Aix, or Marseille, or perhaps Nice. I would not recommend St. Tropez, simply because (I sound like a broken record on this, I know...) the traffic is awful, and you only have a short time, so why waste it sitting in traffic (and no, you can't just take a train in and out).
If you're in Aix or Marseille, they're a short half hour ride (bus or train) apart, so you can see both easily, and take a day trip to Avignon or Arles, or Cassis on the Mediterranean. If you're in Nice, the best day trip is to Monaco.
Then take the TGV back to Paris for one more night before your flight.

Provence(sp) is a very beautiful spot, as well as Bordeux...not as touristy as Paris but its all a matter of preference as to if you want touristy or not.
Have fun, I wish I could go back...
