Even though I'm a Democrat, never take the Republican dirty trick machine for granted. Karl Rove and company will try and paint the Democrats as wimps on terrorism, and morally bankrupt regarding gay marriage and flag burning. They'll hold up pictures of Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky and keep the focus off the most important issues. Throw enough mud and some of it will stick.

its not really a problem if the democrats take control of the senate or house. it becomes a problem if the far left wing of the democratic party takes control of the house and/or senate. theyre the ones that will run the country down the pooper, not moderate democrats if there still are any.

For the far left to take power and control of the three branches of goverment.... they would have to pull off better election fraud then they have so far in the years they have controled politics in Chicago.
