I don't like settling down but if my current lover ever feels like committing should I commit too? And, is it true on the next day of marriage, you wonder who the hell is this person next to you on the bed?

Na dont get married ur to stuck on urself to get married to anyone, and it will only be doomed from the get go.. u need to grow up and realize the world doesnt revolve around u before u even think about getting married.. ur still to selfish to want to share ur life with someone else.. so just go ahead and wait till ur ready instead of messing up someone elses life..

No you are definitely not ready to settle down any time soon. I had a friend in college that (over a 10 year period) got engaged 7 times. Each time she accepted the ring, and would be well into wedding preparations when she would call it all off because she "just wasn't ready to settle down". She finally got married at 30, and the guy she picked was the most juvenile of the lot! I always told her that she should wear a sign around her neck saying "Party Girl - no waiting".

first of all never ever do anything you dont want to. If you feel the need to get committed by all means do so. However if you do not then dont because the other person is the one that is going to suffer not you because we can just walk away. so please dont play with people's emotions when you are not sure.
The best bet is if u lover being a Diva, then get it out of your system before you get too old and regret not doing stuff because your mate wanted a serious relationship. remember to always follow your heart.

hahaha... Ok. When I got married, the very first thing I said the next day is "OMG... We are so stupid, I cant believe we just got married" haahah.. It was in a funny way and I was 100% kidding, but I never knew that was common...hahaahah.. .Ive been with him for 3 years, and we are very happy... If you've been together for a while and have a great relationship... why not get married. Good luck

Hon, SLOW DOWN.....Do you love the guy? If you dont, then say no if he pops the question, dont just do it because it sounds fun or you just want to grow up. If you really do love him, then move in together first. If your still in your diva phase then you're obviously not ready to get married. You'll know when you're ready. And if the guy you're with wants to get married and leaves you because you wont marry him then, Honey, hes not worth the trip down the aisle. And whatever you do, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ELOP! you will regret it.

what ever floats your boat.
if you love him alot and is willing to spend the rest of your life with this man... then why not? change can mean better and you can experience that part of having a married life.
but if you like being single... then maybe not..
draw up a list of pros and cons... for the married and single life. :)
