A white lie is supposed to be a good lie, you know a lie to save someones feelings or something like that. It goes along with the old good guy white hat, bad guy black hat thing. But if you get down to the truth of it a lie is lie.

It's NOT a racial inference. A "white" lie is a little lie like "you look good in that dress" or "I like that hairstyle on you". It's kinda meant to keep from hurting ones feelings.
