Well... you have to also focus on how much money you have, it's very expensive to mantain a child, so if you're rich, go ahead and have your 6 kids. If you don't have that much money, but enough, have 4 kids, and if you don't have enough to mantain enough kids, then 2, plus, think about how hard it'll be to have two kids crying while the other one plays dangerously on the street while the other ones make a mess. It will be hard to have that many kids.
Hope it helped!! Good luck

Do you have any yet? I think once you have one or two, you might have a much better ideal how many you truly want.
How many children you have is a very personal thing. How many can you afford comfortably, it gets to the point if you keep having children where they are doing without, you don't want that. How much patience do you have? They really take a lot.
I have four, sometimes it get wild. I wouldn't take for them, but I advice them to only have two a piece because everything is so expensive nowadays.

Why didn't you say 4 - it's a great number.
Whatever you can afford for the lifestyle you want to lead and the things you want to give them.
We have 4. (3 boys and 1 girl - she is the 2nd child).
We take them traveling all over the world, pay for their car insurance and repairs (all have cars) until they graduate college, and pay 100% of their college expenses. This is what we PLANNED on doing when they were born and we were young and poor.

You should have as many as you can afford monetarily & mentally. How about having one child & taking it from there. You may find you & your hubby may not be able to handle 6 kids.

well i'm just a teenager, i guess i would say maybe 2 or 3 unless you are very well-off because you want all your kids to go to college and stuff right????
but i am BEGGING you, PLEASE don't have only one!! i'm an only child and even though all my life all when anyone finds out i'm an only child they're like "oh you're so lucky! you don't have to share anything, you must be so spoiled!" and stuff like that, and yea, i'll admit compared to lots of my friends maybe i am a little spolied but i am sooo LONELY and i have been all my life. i look at my friends, and when they say like "oh i hate my little brother!" and stuff like that it makes me so upset because they don't know how lucky they are.
i am so scared for the future when my parents die because i won't have any siblings to share my pain with and really understand what i'm going through, and i'll be all alone.
for anybody reading this, please please don't just have one child, it's very very sad. Y_Y
