No.
Sit quietly in a chair until the baby is born.
No salt, no sugars, no smoking, drinking or aspirin. Don't bend over too fast. Don't neglect to rub copies of Shakespeare against your abdomen daily. Take your pre-natal vitamins. No sex.
No TV after 9 p.m. No tight or restrictive clothing; do not drive a car after your 6th month. No riding as a passenger after your 8th month. Walk to the hospital.
No high-fat foods; no rich desserts. Do not make yourself upset, because that could distress the baby. No hamburgers. Stay away from cats and cat litter. No caffeine at all.
Don't shampoo your hair after you have entered your 9th month. No showers ten days before your baby is born; the soap residue could cause a rash. Do not say "Mac Beth" in a theatre. Rub yourself with bee balm to minimize stretch marks, unless you are Caucasian, because that could irritate the baby.
My point is, you can pretty much do what you like and need to do. Healthy babies have been born for millennia. Relax, dear.

Bowling is safe while pregnant. It is like an exercises. With any exercise though don't over do it and jump up and down if you win every round, and rest, set 1-2 rounds out.

I dont see why not, it is excercise, and when i was pregnant the doctor told me that as long as you dont lift anything over 35-50 lbs you'll be fine. Just be careful not to pull any muscles and if you feel any pain STOP and call your doctor. But you should be asking your doctor first about anything if you are pregnant!!

bowling during pregnancy depends on time factor since you have given no specifics then i would advice you not to bowl during first and third trimesters since during first there is organogenesis(foetal organ formation) and not during the third trimester as any unwanted stress can induce contraction leading to premature labour
and by the way any going to be mom should try and avoid suck activities because the bowling alley is very slippery and no risks should be taken .you can alway enjoy your self later

Good question - I'm not pregnant and I can't bowl worth a damn. (Then again, I've only tried it a couple of times.)

absolutely! a bowling ball is definitely not too heavy to pick up, pregnant women are toting toddlers around all the time. :-)
unless, of course, your doctor has instructed you otherwise.
relax and have fun! ;-)
