Best roller coaster: It's a hard decision to make between Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England, Millennium Force or Magnum XL-200, both from Cedar Point. I'd have to say Millennium Force, but both other coasters are VERY close seconds.
From a historical perspective (the question did involve "ever"), Magnum is the best. It was the first roller coaster to top the once unimaginable height of 200 ft., and it stayed the worlds tallest and fastest for several years. Plus, it seems like it gets more fun every time I ride it.
As for the best theme park: Cedar Point, hands down. Nobody comes close, although CP isn't a true theme park, since it doesn't follow any real themes anywhere (aside from Camp Snoopy). As for the best true theme park, I'd say Universal Studios Islands of Adventure or Paramount's Kings Island.

Theme Parks
2 of my favorites:
Worlds of Fun
Kansas City Missouri
Silver Dollar City
Branson Missouri
Silver Dollar City is an Awesome Theme Park
It sits right in the heart of the Ozark Mountains.
Silver Dollar City is set back in the 1880's, it has many rides and GOOD homecooked food and many places to shop for crafty stuff!
Worlds of Fun is an Awesome Theme Park that is home to many rollar coasters and rides!

Millenium Force at Cedar Point!!! I also like X Flight at Geauga Lake. Both parks are in Ohio. Cedar Point is the best for fast rides and rolller coasters. Disney World has the best as far as special effect rides, my fav there is the Haunted Mansion.

That's an easy one! Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH!!
I'd have to say that is the best amusement park as well. Check them out on the web if you've never been there, it's well worth the trip. As far as I know, Top Thrill is a record holder as far as rollercoasters go! Ya gotta ride it at least once!
