I have had that feeling, and it is a heel spur or a bone spur, feels like a bruised place. I experienced the most pain in the morning, but after walking on it for a bit, the pain abated. The best treatment is time, unfortunately, and trying to find a good shoe that protects your foot from impact.

It is probably a heel spur try freezing a plastic bottle of water then put it on the floor and roll your foot on it for a few min. also when you have sat for a long period of time try stretching your foot before you get up.

I had this before. It feels like there's a pingpong ball in your shoe, right? I went to the doctor and he said it was an inflammation of the tendon. There is nothing you do about it. It will pass in 1 or two weeks.

It could be your age. I'm 52 and my doctor told me it was wear and tear on the cartilage it hurts like hell when i have been walking on it for a bit. I have insoles from the physio that help they r like jelly go see your doctor or physio they might say you need to walk slightly differently with insoles its hard to explain coz everyone is different best to see the doctor first... good luck..

This has happened to me too. Here's what you should to: Apply icy hot on your foot, massage while applying Wrap cloth around it, and keep it warm ! If you don't keep it warm, the medicine won't work. Just wrap a blanket around you and snuggle up, and watch a movie, or sleep. :)
