She should go to the doctor she could give birth now if necessary I was 37 weeks when I gave birth to my daughter and she was completely healthy. So if she is is labor she could deliver and the baby would more than likely be healthy unless it has a low birth weight my daughter at 37 weeks weighed 5lbs 15 oz. The baby could also be dropping like the above answer said I had the same problem when I was pregnant with my son. I was really sick when he dropped I couldn't even move. She should go to the doctor though.

Sounds like the baby has dropped. I am 36 weeks and feel that pressure. She should see a doctor to make sure she isnt starting labour.

The light headedness could be a drop in blood pressure. But dizziness can be common in pregnancy. I have experienced that alot too. Tell her to get checked out

depends on how far along she is. Pressure and pain and pulling and tightening.. all these things are normal throughout pregnancy as the tendons and muscles supporting the uterus stretch and grow.

light headedness is normal also, as the body and amount of blood changes.

She sounds like she's around or under three months to me.

Pain like period cramps durring the first couple months is perfectly normal as your body prepares to carry the baby.

Pregnancy isnt always comfortable, she's going to feed odd, feel pains, feel sick and tired, its all part of the game.

She can call her OB's office at any time to get the information she needs, the doctors are always on call jsut for that reason.

Advise, go to the hospital. If she isn't in labor she is having false labor but either way if something else is wrong you want to catch it fast. Don't hesitate while pregnant. It sounds to me like labor. You can go into labor without your water breaking or any discharge. If she isn't due right away, it is probably false labor, it feels closely the same.

well first off how far along is she?
If she is far along it could be the pressure of the baby pressing up against something causing the pain and discomfort.
Try having her getting on her hands and knees with her stomach to the floor and slowly rock and move around to try to move the baby around a little to see if that helps if not then maybe she should contact her doc. to make sure nothing is wrong.

Something could be very wrong.. If you don't get her to a doctor now you may suffer serious consequences. Talking by experience the best thing for her and the baby is to be in doctors care.

That could be a condition called Placenta Previa where the placenta lies over the vervix and causes pressure and possible bleeding. She needs to go to the doctor immediately.

How far along is she? It's really difficult to answer this without knowing. She needs to call the doctor and make sure the doctor takes her seriously. She COULD be in pre-term labor.

I would call the Doctor. But in my 3rd pregnancy I had pressure and I was told that it was normal because my body was not the same after having 2 kids.
