To find a picture of a real fish that you want to draw, do a google search for "fish picture" http://images.google.com/images?q=fish+picture&hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLD,GGLD:2005-19,GGLD:en&sa=X&oi=images&ct=title

Have you thought of a Starfish.
Why not a dolphin?
Maybe you could draw "NEMO" (its a clown fish). Minus the huge eyes. You'll get a real Clown Fish.

You've seen the fish symbol of christianity, right?
Use that as a basis. Close your eyes. Think of Nemo.
Draw what you see.
