Portray someone you admire (an author, an actress, etc.), or if you can't think of anything, do some research on authors, actresses, etc. that are well known through out history. Make sure you consider how you feel about dressing up as the person before you choose them. I had to do this in the seventh grade. I did not like dressing up as Elizabeth Cady Stanton (you've probably haven't heard of her; I hadn't until I did this project. I have some suggestions: Laura Ingalls Wilder, Shirley Temple, and Lucille Ball. If this is as much work work as mine was, just pace your self and try to have fun with it. Good luck!

Florence Nightingale. Wear a long skirt and a white top with a red cross on it. As you know she was the first nurse and was also known as 'the lady with the lantern' because she would tend the sick at night. There was no electricity in those days so she had a lantern.
