I see it all the time on here, very crude and hatefull comments about the man's family, some even going as far as saying they wish they would die so Bush would know the feeling of losing a kid.What a bunch of sickos. HEY, if you hate the thought of the man being a patriot and protecting this country, fine,blast him all you want, but why bring his family into it? They dont have anything to do with his decisions. Again, what a bunch of SICKOS!

Because everything else they've tried doesn't seem to be gaining any traction. The republican party, despite all the bad things that have happened in the last few years, don't seem to be losing much ground anywhere and this is very frustrating to Liberals. The democratic party only seems to gain ground when things are going bad. Instead of providing alternative solutions to anything they point out the negatives in what someone else does to get ahead. Even though Bush's ratings have been down, they are starting to come back up. Whether liberals want to believe it or not the majority of people in this country tend to have moral beliefs more in line with the republican party. So when anyone i.e. Bush's Daughters do anything out of line AT ALL they jump on it. I am a republican and I have been disappointed with Bush on many issues, but the liberals just don't provide any alternatives.

I haven't actually heard any comments about his daughters, except a few jokes about the time they tried to sneak into a bar with a fake ID.
I do remember a lot of really cruel comment about Chelsea Clinton though - comments on national tv about how ugly she was - and this is when she was like 12 or something.
So let's not be utterly false here and imply that all liberals insult the Bush girls, because we all know that simply isn't true. I will agree that no one, liberal or conservative, should be insulting anyone. If you dislike a policy, say so. But calling people names just lowers the whole argument.

Because they're not tolerant. They are extremely intolerant of those with whom they disagree. If you look at some the questions and answers posted by liberals just on this site, you'll find a lot of them very hateful and advocating violence against people they don't agree with. The bit with the Bush daughters is fairly mild for them.

I haven't seen all that many people attacking the Bush twins. Would you like to give us a long list of all the 'I see it all the time on here' links to 'all those times'?
Yes, they're rich girls who liked to party, got drunk a few times and got in trouble a few times. But most college boys and girls that age.
Amy Carter got made fun of. So did Chelsea Clinton and Gerald Ford's and Lyndon Johnson's kids. Reagan's own daughter turned against her father's politics and she was savagely attacked by the far right. So the few you actually hear put down the twins are nothing compared to the abuse levied at Reagan's daughter.

It's a cheap shot, taught by the Republican extremists, designed to point out the hypocrisy of GW's administration. I agree family and personal life should be off-limits. Of course, I include in that belief what the president does with his pecker providing it's legal.

Mostly because they are hypocrites....
the response that "99% of neocon hawks" don't have kids in the military is b.s. Last I checked, we had a totally volunteer military. As a veteran who served I knew exactly what I was signing up for, as do all volunteers. It is what makes our country great, that we have some brave individuals who are willing to defend.

First^ the pen is mightier^ .01% of the population has a child in the military and 2.5% of the GOP congress have children in the active military many in Iraq...please get your facts correct.

Sorry, "tolerant liberals" is like military intelligence and cherry tart. Had you posed the question as Why Do "what a bunch of SICKOS!" liberals....We would have had a factual basis to work on.
I cannot speak to "OXY", but in describing liberals the rest seems to fit.
