You have to be more precise.
1) What planet? You'll find articles about driving the fastest car in mars.
2) The meaning of fast. It can be the one with more acceleration (0 to 60, or 0 to 100 mph, fastest quarter of miller), the one with the highest top speed or the one with the better lap time in some track... Those are all different concepts and have different answers. Nevertheless, it is not my car!

The land speed record is currently held the the British with thrust SSC which was driven by Andy Green, and I suppose you could call it a car. If you mean a road car it is either the Bugatti Veyron or the McLaren F1.

OK to all u poeple a buggatti veyron goes 253MPH, Saleen S7 TT cannot beat a veyron top speed, Ferraris are fast but not in the 240MPH zone, Mclaren F1 will lose to a koenigsegg CCR, and CCX at top speed.
