With apologies to Tim McVeigh, Muslims are the terrorists by such a wide margin that I'm asking: "Does it make sense to examine Muslim men between the ages of 18 through 45 more carefully than my 89 year old mother where security is an issue?

Please don't apologize to McVeigh for anything.

And yes, I think we should be conducting racial profiling. If it means young Muslim men are prone to greater security then so be it. Likewise if young white males, elderly black females or whatever are the prime causes of terrorism then screen them more closely.

Some might argue that it infringes on human rights but I think the right to live is far more important.

I disagree with racial profiling. It should be profiling. We should look for red flags.

Here is why!

If I was Osama, I'd start looking for western looking terrorists, and use them to get thru our system, since they would not raise a flag.

However, I agree that profiling should pass certain people more readily than others, seniors, kids, professionals, etc. based on certain criteria. Still has a hole, but, what can you say.
