riding a bull at the rodeo? I did once and damn near broke my neck, just curious?

I rode a bucking bronco machine at a rodeo at Clovis, CA.
It was fun. Not sure about the real thing.

Did that once and didn't like it. I managed to stay on for about three jumps. The ground was a lot harder than it looked. I think I can find easier and safer ways to make a fool out of myself.
