Since MOST terrorists are Muslims (Yes, they are) is it regrettably appropriate to stop letting Muslims into America in such large numbers?

It is time to deal with any immigration much better than we have done thus far, Muslim or otherwise. I won't discount a person just because he/she is Muslim. Trusting anyone, regardless of background, takes time. However, I am sick and tired of hearing that Islam is a "peaceful" religion. Thank Allah Islam is such a "peaceful" religion. Can you imagine if it weren't??!

While not all Muslims are terrorists or support terrorism, the vast majority of terrorists and their supporters are Muslim. Islam is a very oppressive, violent religion, not only on its own people, but certainly on non-Muslims. The good Muslims ought to stand up and condemn Islamic extremists and Islamic terrorism, unequivocally, without any "and," "if," or "but."

Unfortunately for the modern world, the Muslims have been conditioned by their dictatorial regimes to have one thought, the same as the regime. There is no spectrum of opinions in the Muslim world, there is no freedom of expression, freedom of thought, freedom to live life freely (exception is in Turkey).

It's time for Muslims to take accountability for their religion and culture. Stop spinning, and address the fact that the Muslim culture is one of the most oppressive and violent cultures, against its own people, and certainly against other cultures.

For those who believe that the extremist element in Islam is small, the numbers are staggering. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in this world. Lets take a very liberal view that only a very small percentage of Muslims are exterme, while the rest of the Muslim world is very peaceful. So if only 10% of Muslims have extreme point of views, and may be a threat, and must be dealt with, meaning dealing with 120 million Muslims! How about 1%? Then you must deal with 12 million Muslims. How about 1/10 of a percent? Then you must deal with 1.2 million Muslims. The numbers are staggering! How do you propose dealing with even the "very low" figures of 1.2 million Muslim extremists?

It would be to the benefit of the World to rid of Hezbollah, Hamas, the Syrian and Iranian regime. It must be done to finally have a chance for peace in the region and the rest of the world.

Maybe, to start off, we should STOP INSTIGATING the Muslims to begin with. Our government does so because the Middle East is volitile, and those in our government who coddle to the oil industry want control of that area to procure the oil...profit profit profit. Just look at the record profits they're making right now, while we are paying 3x the gas price we paid just a few years ago. Isn't it a bit unethical? Same reason they stifle alternative energy sources in our country. They are also using the terrorist threat as a means/excuse to change our Constitution, and have severly diminished our civil rights/liberties with the passing of the Patriot Act...after Bush had stated that TERRORISTS threaten those freedoms and liberties....which are granted by our Constitution, not by terrorists. BUSH attacked our freedom and liberty.

This administration is very good as mislabeling their deeds to gain support. Unfortunately too many of us Americans lack the intelligence to see the lie behind the cutie-pie name. The war in Iraq has nothing to do with terrorism. The WAR ON TERROR is being fought right here, in our own Congress...against US. The proof is the changes in OUR Constitution, and the lack of secure borders. This administration has changed the law so much, that we are only one Presidential finger-snap away from a police state. There is certainly NOTHING American, free, or libertarian about that. They WANT another terrorist attack...so they can FINISH the raping of our Constitution that they started. Why?

CONTROL....POWER....PROFIT....at our expense.

WE THE PEOPLE have become We the Schmucks.

This is already being done. Muslims are not entering the United States as they did before, and the ones that are here are looked up with hatred just because of what a few did.

Multiculturalism does not come actual to maximum folk, it truly is authentic. It takes more beneficial generosity of spirit than the classic man or woman possesses to open as a lot as rookies who seem and sound different and who worship a special god. It does not help that a small minority of Muslims are carrying out a holy conflict against the Christian west. my personal objection to fundamentalist Muslims is the very similar objection that I carry in the route of, fundamentalist Christians, Jews, Sikhs, or the different non secular extremists. All fundamentalists are a blight on society. there is not any foundation in besides for his or her entire dedication to a author or ideal Being. even as they dedicate their lives to the worship of a mythical entity, they exhibit extreme dementia. i do not unmarried out Muslims in this recognize. Nor ought to all and sundry else.

I think we need to restrict all immigaration into America. Over 10 million illegals as it is now, sucking the future of the legal working Americans.

I don't think so. Remember, there are also domestic terrorists as well. America is a melting pot. How discriminatory would it be for us to turn on back on someone simply because of their religious beliefs? It would be extremely bad policy.
