Ten years ago you couldn't walk down the street in a mink without taking your life into your hands. Now it's all over the runways. Are we only politically conscious every other decade or something?

People who were fur are disgusting. I wish someone would step and jump on your head while you still alive and pull the skin right off of you while your still full conscious and hurting. Its so sick. I wish i had the link to a video i once saw that would really show you what happens but i dont remember it.

Or if you insist, always wear a slogan t-shirt that says, "FAKE FUR" when wearing your mink coat.

In the UK, it's not acceptable to wear fur and it hasn't been for a long time. I don't think it ever will be. Fake fur's in every winter, but real fur is disgusting.
When I see celebrities -- invariably from the USA -- in fur coats, I just think they look repulsive. I don't look up to people like that.

Personally, I think wearing fur never went "out of style" It's called the food chain-the humans being the strongest most developed species wore fur to keep warm. It became a fashion statement. That's the way it goes. People get so freaked out by fur-Thousands and thousands of years people wore fur, and used other by products of the animal for human use, not just eating.Do any of these people wear leather, suede, cosmetics with animal protien? I think fur looks great, it's very warm, and too bad who does not like it. If you don't like it, don't wear it.

Mink are farm-raised rodents. I don't understand what the hoop-la was to begin with. No one is out there advocating for the rights of poultry and cattle. Now, wearing the fur of endangered species is another story. But mink? Give me a break. Make mine full-length.

Yes, really, fake fur is best. It's a crime to kill animals so that you can wear them. I think that we are not that primitive to do that. Our people did that like more then 3000 years ago... If you want fur wear a fake one definitely.

if you wear fur, you're obviously a fashion fiend with no idea of whats going on in the real world. fur is fine, if you're willing to bludgeon the animal yourself and peel the skin off of it while it's still half alive. dont be confused though nothing has changed, people still recognize the blatant stupidity of people who wear fur and designers who use it, there are simply more stupid people to go around now days.

In my opinion it's not acceptable to wear it. It supports animal cruelty.
