Timeless. I saw them in 73. They were the original heavy metal group. Every metal group since took something from Led Zeppelin. Zepplin, The Stones, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd are groups that I have enjoyed with my kids and my grandchildren. Every generation finds them.

yea they´re definitely awesome
my favorites arewhen the levee breaks, over the hills and far away and fool in the rain, plus much more
It´s alway interesting to see people who were around when they came out who don´t like them anymore because ¨they´ve heard them too much´they´re sick of it blah blah blah
They may be overplayed...but that doesn´t change the quality oftheir music. It´s still good, and I think it´s awesome how it´s still listened to today. If teenagers want to discover it, that´s great-it´s not overplayed for them.
But the fact that it´s been played for 30 years is a testament to the timelessness.
also, i love how they mix blues and rock. so many people say they´re hard rock/metal and created heavy metal, but i disagree. i think they have a style of their own.

'In the light' will always be my fave and the transition to 'down by the seaside' but there are so many more. They never played it live because they couldn't remember how they got that sound.
Four guys who found each other and happened to be tight as a blues band. You would be surpirsed how normal they used to be growing up. Paige is like most guitarists who listened to American delta blues and tried to play (and suceeded) what he heard.
I liked the fact that they weren't anal in their recordings. I like when they keep some of the mistakes.
I do not understand why Paige and Plant don't ask John Paul Jones to join them in their reunion tours. They don't even invite him. Maybe because bass is so related to the drums? Who know's. Jones doesn't even know.

Yes, Zeppelin is still my favorite band. I like their older songs better and "Stairway to Heaven" is the masterpiece for this enduring and historic group.
