In most states you have to be licensed to sell/serve food as a business. Your kitchen will have to be inspected, and many home kitchens don't meet the strict codes necessary to qualify. You may need to upgrade your sink, the temperature or size of your oven and/or refrigerator. You can research the law yourself, or you can try a chambe of commerce which might be able to get you started.

All you have to do is ask the State of Louisiana...they have a web site you know. I would think if you have a license you should be o.k.

well my experience is yes,you may need a license,maybe an inspection to be in the safe side,science you will be cooking to the public.
