There is a current proposal before the Social Security Committee that would acknowledge stupidity as a disabilty and allow someone to collect benefits. What are your thoughts?

not allot different then the fat people , anorexics, depression, and the list goes on and on as to why people cant work and must collect disability in my opion many are able to work just don't want to.... i have many friends who are depressed and work yet know of plenty who get disability ....so what can we do but vote and Bi#%h

I suppose that could be another word for retarded. Both of those words seem so callous though. Impaired brain function sounds more like a diagnosis that could be substituted for those two words.

I actually knew a guy several years ago that said working made him anxious and so the doc wrote it up somehow to get him ss for his condition! He was in his 30's!
