Help! they didn't tell me!?

Hey guys! I'm going to be a soph in college starting in 2 days. Well, I'm signed up for 2 art classes. They sell the art suply in the bookstore and I asked the workers there what I would need. They didn't know and it wasn't labeled anywhere. Should I just ask on the first day? If I do that, though, it's a 3 hour class and they might expect us to do something. Also, I have another class where they aren't even scheduled yet! It's a newspaper class, so maybe we're just supposed to meet somewhere that everyone knows or something. . . what to do, folks?

I would go online to your college's website. Search the directory for bookstore (it should be on the main page though). Once you find that, usually you can type in your class and section number to find out what supplies you need.

As far as the newspaper class, if it's not labeled go ahead and call the department which it's located in (most likely journalism). Or, call the admission office and they will direct you to the right place.

Also, calm down. Chances are if you don't know where these things are then others don't as well. Keep it cool and you'll be fine.

If the school bookstore doesn't know what you need for the class, I'd say it's safe to assume you will be given a list at your first class. How can you buy supplies when you have no clue what you will need.

just wait until the first day, they very rarely do anthing that day except go over what's expected of you and what you will need. as for the class that isn't scheduled, check back periodically with the registrar and something should come up eventually. it's not your fault they dont know where the class will be yet!
