Wether or not your period is late, ovulation usually occurs 14 days after the first day of your period. For example, if your period started on August 1, you will ovulate on August 15. However, if a woman is under severe stress; this may affect her calculated ovulation day. Try to relax; maintain a healthy diet; do not smoke, drink, or take drugs; start taking prenatal vitamins now to prepare your body for a new life; please get enough rest! Also, make sure your significant other is taking care of his body as well. Men are not exempt; healthy sperm is mandatory!

i know what you are going through on this. I was on the depo and pill for 6 years and my cycles are so messed up it is not funny. I got off my pills a yeal and a half ago and still no pregnancy. My cycles are anywhere from 36 days plus. I don't mean to discourage you. Anyways give it time they will regulate. I am now on chlomid to help me ovulate and i hope it works . No wait till your next period to start calculate it. Also if your period is longer then 35 days then you are not ovulating and that is what my problem is at the moment that is why the doctor put me on chlomid

You need to calculate the day you start your period as the first day of your cycle. Are you always irregular? If not, I would take a preg. test.
