World peace is such a great sounding statement from beauty pageant hopefuls, but wars have been more the norm than the exception. On every continent we've had wars between city statates, tribes, cultures, gangs.

In the 1st World we've tried to end wars by having our economies so interwoven that if I fight you it hurts me. Creating entitlements so that you depend on me for support.

Does this mean that when the energy crisis collides with the baby-boomer's retirement bill the world will go to war, or will terrorism be to war cry?

I don't see how a lack of american support for israel could lead to a war. In fact, the only time the USA didn't support israel (1956) it ended a war.

yes, this war has been going on for decades, and even before that Arabs and their Arab brothers(Jewish desendants) have been fighting for centuries...sadly they are bred from the same clothe but people seem to forget about that, they dont even remember the reason they hate each other so much, you ask Ten middle eastern people and you'll get 10 different answers and reason for the other to be destroyed.....its crazy but after people fight so long they just remember the fighting and not the start of it.....
